Just a quick question... How many of you would like to see this blog and 'Salt & Light' merged? Or do you like them separate? Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
Ryan
By request, the poor cows (the species of which furnish my income) :-) have been removed from the blog.... Goodbye, Bovines!

It seems like one shows the beauty of God and His creation, and the other is more of a Biblical narrative. I would like to see the two kept separate. Thanks for the beautiful pictures.

Well, I think the two blogs are both unique, and I tend to agree with the previous commenter.
But I would also like to see how you would merge the two...=)
I love the beautiful photography and stuff, so I personally would not like to see that come to end!

Hey, I really enjoy both sites seperate!
Although, pesonally I don't like your last picture of cows.=/

Thanks, Mom for your thoughts! I love you!

So, Rachel,
Do you want me to start a third one that merges the idea of the first two?!? :-) Just kidding! Thanks for your thoughts too!
--- -- --- -- --- -- ---
Ok, Becc@,
Thanks for your input! Do you want me to take the cows off, and put you there instead? :-)

Thanks everyone! I guess I'll keep them separate! :-)

Hey, a third blog wouldn't be a bad idea, now would it?! Actually, I hadn't thought of that yet...=D
The fact that you can keep up with two, though is beyond me! It's enough for me to keep up with one! LOL!
I really have enjoyed both your blogs, though...
Glad you'll be keeping it up!=)

Um, Thanks for asking, but I think that one picture of me with my comment is enough.=)
But I could find you a better pic, than that of those cows!!!

Ok, I'm going to join the majority and say I like both blogs! But, (and this is just a thought) I wouldn't at all mind a few pictures on S&L? :-) I know you've got plently so keep them coming!

Hey, Becc@,
Are the hearts that are bleeding for the cows that were so forcefully removed better? :-D

Hey, I liked the cows! They were so, um, well...just you! I meant to say that in my last comment, but my absent-mindedness caused that very creative picture to sucumb to someone's, ahem, less appreciatve taste!
By Anonymous, at 9:55 PM
Sure, the hearts that are bleeding for the cows are alot better...you must have a big heart to do something like that for 'little miss hat'!=)
By Anonymous, at 9:58 AM
Hey that's great! I honestly didn't like the cows so much either, (in fact, if it wasn't for the fact that they gave me the milk I love, I wouldn't like them at all!) but I figured I'd leave the 'constructive critism' to 'little miss hat'!=D
I also didn't realize you'd change a picture so readily...
(Now I know for the next time!!!) HA!
By Anonymous, at 10:04 AM
Well, you can tell me what to do now... :-D
I have two people that are thankful for the picture change, and one that would like it back! :-D Hmm.... Solomon?!?! Are you listening? :-)
-Ry
P.S. Annie, the cows can still be found here:
Cow Photo
P.P.S. Becc@, I guess I never knew that I had a big heart... I just figured that it was normal sized :-) I am glad that you like the flowers better!
P.P.P.S. Rachel, yes, now you know for next time! (whenever I get the urge to post another cow photo) :-D
P.P.P.P.S. BTW, what is offensive about cows? :-D
By Ryan H, at 10:34 AM
Ah, thank you! Desktop wallpaper! =D
Really, more seriousely, I thought the photography was very good! Fencelines photos are one of my favorites, regardless of what's on the other side!
By Anonymous, at 11:02 AM
If you ask me, it's not that the cows are "offensive," but simply unlovely.(!)
Somehow I think the "Cat-in-the-Hat" found his way here with "stink" #1, and "stink" #2, and seeing and smelling them every-once-in-a-while is enough for me!
I am definitely a 'country-girl,' but not a 'farm-girl'... (if there can be such a thing!)
Andrea, you have GOT to be kidding!!! Desktop wallpaper?!?!
I think we come from different planets!
Sure, I love 'fenceline photography' too, but I surely cannot say it doesn't matter what's on the other side!

Well, Solomon, in the form of Luke Popejoy, told me what to do.... You can see it here!

Very Funny!
(Not!)
I don't know what to think of that 'Solomon' guy...

And here is Solomon #2's answer: (in the form of David Hoshor) :-D
Solomon #2

ROFL!!!!!!!!!! Ryan, you sure take delight in giving me perpertual, re-occuring stomach-aches!!!!!!!!! I laughed until the tears rolled down!! The second picture is great!!!
Rachel, I think we must be! I love the smell of silage, hay, grain, and ocassionally, yes, even the country smell of a nearby farmer spreading manure. Call me strange - you won't be far off! I have taken pictures of cows myself, and like they make for very interesting subjects!
By Anonymous, at 2:37 PM
Hey... I like that one!
You know, I think those flowers were probably able to cover up the horrible cow-stink, and therefore, I like it.=D
I think that picture has got to be the most bizarre picture I have ever seen or imagined; but it's great.=)
I must say, though, the things you guys can come up with...
Totally unreal.
I guess it's hard trying to please everyone.=/ =D
You know what Becc@ will most likely say next...(?!)
(Squirrels+Nuts...)
LOL!

Ok, "Cow-Girl"...
(Andrea)
Sorry, you must be a puzzle I will never figure out!
I'll take the scent of roses, lilacs, wildflowers, and even ocean-breeze from the Gulf Coast, and let you take what's left, if that's really what you like!
I'll say one thing; you are certainly VERY unique... I've never met a girl who enjoyed the smell of manure before... that is, until now!
Hey, do you enioy butchering chickens, too?! Maybe you and I could trade places in the fall?! Otherwise, who knows whether the next time I'll faint!=P
You know I'm just teasing you, I hope... ;-)
By Anonymous, at 3:28 PM
Sorry, I didn't like "Solomons" idea! Flowers and cows don't mix!!
By Anonymous, at 3:51 PM
Well, Rachel, just to assure you, I am a normal girl in that I love flower smells too! I just am a country-farm girl as well, and have a wide variety of smells I enjoy!
And, I've never butchered chickens before, but I think I probably would enjoy it more or less. :-)I've seen it done though, and don't think I'd be in danger of fainting!
Anyway, enough rambling! TTYL!
By Anonymous, at 10:29 PM
Oh, GREAT! You are on for the job... (I just had to let you know!)
...for chicken butchering, I mean! I'd like to hire you myself, in fact!=D That kind of stuff just...=P
oh, I can't describe how bad it gets!
Anyhow, =) I'm sure you're perfectly normal... I was just teasing you!;-)
At least now we all know how to get tons of comments on our blogs, right?!
Cow-Talk!

Hey, Ryan, could I have permission to use picture #2 for something?! I have an idea...=D
By Anonymous, at 11:12 AM
Permission granted for all non-destructive purposes!
Just kidding! Yes, you can use any of my pictures, because they are not mine! They are just snapshots of God's creation! (Well, the picture that you want is not really God's creation... kind of a hybrid! :-) [I assume you are asking about Solomon's #2 pict?])

By Ryan H, at 11:45 AM
Yes! That the picture I want...
Thanks! This is going to be great! =D Ha!
LOL!
