What amazing pictures! I love your scenic ones -- they are so peaceful, and portray such color and beauty. I've also enjoyed reading the technical information that you've shared, what a wonderful idea!
Thank you, Bethany! I know I have said it before, but I just marvel at the beauty that God has placed all around us, and am grateful to be able to capture small glimpses of its intricacy. "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork." Ps. 19:1
Actually, I got the idea to provide technical information from a few other photoblogs that I follow regularly. It was always very interesting to me to see how they captured a specific effect.
“Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.” Luke 12:27

I shoot most all of my photos with my Canon 50D or aging Rebel XT along with my 28-135mm IS USM and 70-200mm f/2.8 L USM lenses. For wide-angle, I have the XT's 18-55mm kit lens.
