I shoot most all of my photos with my Canon 50D or aging Rebel XT along with my 28-135mm IS USM and 70-200mm f/2.8 L USM lenses. For wide-angle, I have the XT's 18-55mm kit lens.

Yes, light is one of the most amazing things... Especially in photography. It is so amazing to me how much a little bit of light can really make the delineation between a good photo and a great one! And all the colors that are in light... The entire spectrum as we know it! Oh, God is so good!
Looking at light in the spiritual sense is very beautiful too. “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:” —1 Peter 2:9
