Rachel: No, I don't mind at all. In fact, I don't know if anyone else cares or not, but maybe I should put a notice on the sidebar that these images are copyrighted to God, not me, and that they are free to take and enjoy... Just like the subjects that God provides for me. :-) Feel free to put them as desktop wallpaper or whatever you like. I'm just glad that others can be blessed.
I like this one a lot! For the past three months or so, I've actually had it as my desktop wallpaper. Actually, you had different Scripture, but I recognize the picture. You should do more desktop wallpaper! I really enjoy it!
@goldfish: You don't have to leave so I'll post more... Actually, when you ask for it, then it spurs me on to do more. :-)
@andrea: Actually it's different... I just took that picture on Sun afternoon. The other one had a bee on it, and was a different kind of flower. :-) You can see them side-by-side here: http://photojewels.blogspot.com/search/label/photoshop. I do agree, they look very similar. :-D
@ brittleigh: No, I don't mind you asking at all. I actually use Photoshop CS3 Beta. It's an incredible program that unfortunately comes at an incredible price. Sorry! :-( I have used the GIMP, but it just does not have the fit and finish that PS does. The price? Free! It's definitely worth looking at if you like tinkering with graphic design, and photo editing. Hope some of this helps! :-)

Yes, that sounds like it... :D I certainly had a serious case of sticker-shock after looking into that (kind of) stuff! :-/
And about the tutorials, Um, yes, definitely... that is, please, :) after my laptop is over it's rebelious stage! :( :D I think my own "tinkering" is at a halt... :D
Hahahaha, Ry!!! You know I'm just pulling your leg!! (As usual! :-) What can I can - photoshop, my dream camera.....Ry, you've got it made for some serious photography!!! :-D:-D:-D

I shoot most all of my photos with my Canon 50D or aging Rebel XT along with my 28-135mm IS USM and 70-200mm f/2.8 L USM lenses. For wide-angle, I have the XT's 18-55mm kit lens.

Several people have asked me about using my photos/artwork, so I just wanted to mention that everything on this site belongs to God, and can be freely used as such for personal uses. "Freely ye have received, freely give." May God bless you!

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of photo editing program do you have? I love how you're able to do the text and fading like that.
