I shoot most all of my photos with my Canon 50D or aging Rebel XT along with my 28-135mm IS USM and 70-200mm f/2.8 L USM lenses. For wide-angle, I have the XT's 18-55mm kit lens.

I like your technique on that photo. I've been experimenting with the same one lately - having oof "framing" in the front with the subject in the middle with the back also oof adds so much interest!
